It's January 2024. We've lived in Germany for exactly six months now. This isn't my first rodeo. In fact, it's the third place I've lived in in three years. But I'd say this move has been the most difficult. Every time you move, you feel like you're moving blind. Probably because you usually are. It's almost always to a place you never thought you would live. It's a stronger feeling when you're headed somewhere where you don't speak the language. And so I find myself with lots of thoughts: on this lifestyle, on the challenges and struggles we face, on the indignities of some (most) of it.

Welcome to Musings of a Military Spouse. A place where I'll discuss everything under the sun. Creating and maintaining a career, traveling, constantly moving, finding childcare, integrating into other cultures, anything that comes to mind. Sometimes we'll even feature guest bloggers to provide other insights and perspectives. Feel free to reach out through our contact page if you'd like to pitch an idea. I'll share resources, tips, and anything else that might be useful. All curated toward the unique niche of people called military spouses. I'm glad to have you here.
